I had a good laugh the other day when I typed ‘please schedule a patient for a colonoscopy’ and my phone autocorrected it to ‘please schedule a patient for a pizza party’. Can you imagine the confusion? All the staff had a good chuckle, and now I double-check before hitting send. Anyone else have hilarious autocorrect blunders in the office?
I totally get that! One time, I texted our nurse to ‘pick up some gauze’ and it came out as ‘pick up some gazebos.’ Imagine the surprise when they showed up with lawn furniture instead! Has anyone else had a message go wildly off-course?
I totally agree! Using smart locks really does simplify life. With the kids always on the move, we found setting up temporary codes for trusted friends to come in handy. Did you have a favorite feature with yours, @c_harper56?
But i’ve had my share of autocorrect fails too! Just the other day, I meant to remind a colleague about a ‘medication refill’ and it turned into ‘medication reveal’ — talk about dramatic moments in the office! Do you think we should start a support group for autocorrect victims?
.
Autocorrect can definitely lead to some funny situations! I once meant to type ‘please send the lab results’ and it turned into ‘please send the lab roosters.’ Now, I always proofread my texts before sending them off. Has anyone tried turning off autocorrect altogether?
, I can relate! Just the other day, I meant to text about some ‘urgent paperwork’ and it turned into ‘urgent paper towels.’ Talk about a mix-up! Now I double-check everything, especially after hearing about that pizza party blunder.
